About the role

The Assistant Director of Events Planning will support the development and execution of the hotel’s event strategy, ensuring that all functions meet JW Marriott’s brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing departmental strategies for event planning and execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless events.
• Oversee the preparation of event proposals, contracts, and budgets.
• Monitor event performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with brand service standards across all event spaces.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event management within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
