About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis 2 to join the All‑Day Dining team at a 5‑star hotel in Dubai. The role involves supporting the kitchen during breakfast, lunch and dinner service, ensuring smooth operation of live cooking stations and buffet areas.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and producing hot and cold food items for all meals.
- Prepare mise en place, salads, appetizers, sauces and garnishes according to recipes.
- Support buffet set‑up, replenishment and live cooking stations.
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, stock rotation and adhere to HACCP and hygiene standards.
- Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized while minimizing food waste.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment (preferred).
- Experience in All‑Day Dining or buffet operations (advantage).
- Culinary qualification or relevant training (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
