Assistant Director of Sales (Hospitality)

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales supports the Director of Sales in managing the hotel's daily sales activities across all market segments. This position drives revenue growth, oversees key MICE accounts, and ensures the sales team meets its financial and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the Sales team across assigned market segments.
• Assist the Director of Sales in implementing departmental standards, strategies, and quality guidelines.
• Take charge of the Sales Department in the Director's absence, handling financial, administrative, and operational tasks.
• Prepare sales reports, annual business plans, revenue forecasts, and expense budgets.
• Manage and develop top‑producing MICE accounts to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts into long‑term partnerships.
• Develop and monitor sales strategies to exceed Rooms and Food & Beverage revenue forecasts.
• Conduct sales calls, account reviews, market analysis, and competitor assessments.
• Welcome and manage hotel site inspections when the Director is unavailable.
• Train, coach, motivate, and develop Sales team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within hospitality.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales or a related field is preferred.
• Russian language proficiency is an advantage.
