Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front desk operations at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, ensuring seamless service for elite and VIP guests while maintaining high standards of luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor arrival and departure of elite and VIP guests, ensuring personalized service.
• Schedule and supervise front desk staff, including supervisors and receptionists, to meet budgeted service standards.
• Train front desk team, conduct performance evaluations and take disciplinary action when necessary.
• Handle guest relocations, room rate availability, and credit procedures, coordinating with accounting and reservations.
• Oversee cash handling, paid‑outs, rebates, petty cash reimbursements and direct billings, ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift reconciliation.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests, using the Glitch Database and other communication tools.
• Conduct nightly inspections of guest rooms and hotel areas, logging maintenance requests via HotSOS.
• Act as the senior manager on duty during overnight shifts, supervising all hotel departments and ensuring safety and security protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising front office operations in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to train, evaluate and motivate staff.
• Excellent knowledge of VIP and elite guest handling procedures.
• Ability to manage credit, cash, and billing processes accurately.
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities, especially in handling guest complaints.
