Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the Executive Housekeeper at our prestigious luxury hotel in Dubai. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring all areas meet exacting cleanliness standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor cleaning procedures, schedules and quality inspections for guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Supervise, train and motivate housekeeping staff, creating rosters and managing payroll for the department.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, optimizing stock levels and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests, resolve issues promptly and handle complaints professionally.
• Enforce health and safety protocols in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervision, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and physical stamina for daily duties.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is a plus.

• Proficiency in hotel management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
