Assistant IT Manager

About the role

Accor is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to support the daily operations of its IT department across hotel properties in Dubai. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure seamless technical support, system uptime, and compliance with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily IT operations, coordinating with the Regional IT Team for brand compliance and system updates.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical and operational issues raised by staff and guests, resolving incidents promptly.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance, perform hands‑on troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, network systems, and hospitality software.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software licenses, manuals, and IT assets to ensure audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–3 years of IT experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating closely with the IT Coordinator.

Required skills

• Experience with OPERA Cloud (PMS).
• Experience with MICROS Simphony Cloud (POS).
• Knowledge of Aruba networking solutions.
• Familiarity with PBX telephone systems.
