Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance (Accounting & Reporting Advisory)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Audit & Assurance – Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Dubai. You will support client engagements, contribute to proposals, and help shape accounting strategies for diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on IFRS and local GAAP technical issues and produce high‑quality reports and presentations.
• Develop client proposals, draft scopes of work, and assist in budgeting projects.
• Collaborate with managers, senior managers, partners, and clients to align strategy, manage risk, and meet expectations.
• Draft revenue‑recognition and leasing accounting policies under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Lead engagements for the preparation of financial statements under applicable accounting frameworks.
• Educate clients on the impact of new accounting standards through training sessions.

Required profile

• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) and several years of experience in audit or accounting advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders and deliver clear recommendations.
