Assistant Manager – Business Excellence

About the role

Join the Business Excellence team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray in Dubai. You will support the Business Excellence Manager in shaping hotel strategy, implementing process frameworks and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Business Excellence Manager in developing and maintaining the hotel’s strategic process framework.
• Support balanced scorecard implementation and strategy alignment.
• Manage guest feedback processes and uphold related standards.
• Promote colleague innovation and awareness of quality principles.
• Facilitate improvement projects, identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of progressive experience in operations or Business Excellence, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Business Excellence or Quality Management.
• Training on Excellence Model and Quality Management System methodologies.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Business Excellence or Quality Management environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Effective team player with independent responsibility handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using MS Project.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio.
