Assistant Manager – Facilities

About the role

Assistant Manager – Facilities will oversee inspection, repair and preventive maintenance of kitchen, laundry and restaurant equipment, as well as general facilities and MEP systems at Atlantis The Royal. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety and compliance with health, safety and HACCP standards while supporting uninterrupted property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the facilities maintenance team, managing resources to complete work orders safely and on schedule.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, environmental and property requirements, including proper PPE use and risk assessments.
• Escalate technical, operational or safety issues to senior management with clear advice and corrective actions.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring inspections, testing and calibration are up‑to‑date.
• Develop and deliver technical training programs for the facilities team.
• Manage the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program for kitchen and laundry equipment, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and practical work.
• Proven ability to supervise maintenance staff and coordinate multi‑disciplinary work.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental and HACCP regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
