Assistant Manager – Human Capital (Hospitality)

About the role

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, an exclusive beachside resort on Palm Jumeirah, is looking for an Assistant Manager to join its Human Capital team. You will play a pivotal role in attracting, onboarding, and supporting talent across the resort, ensuring a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruitment: partner with department heads, build talent pipelines, and manage the applicant tracking system.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction: handle documentation, system access, orientation, cultural alignment and probation reviews.
• Act as first point of contact for employee queries and support disciplinary and performance‑improvement processes.
• Review monthly payroll inputs for accuracy and work with the payroll team to ensure timely processing.
• Manage leave and attendance data using the Gantner system while maintaining confidentiality of employee records.
• Assist in the implementation of Human Capital initiatives and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of experience in HR, recruitment, onboarding, payroll or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service‑oriented mindset.
