Assistant Manager – Human Capital

About the role

The Jumeirah Zabeel Saray resort is seeking an Assistant Manager to support its Human Capital team. This role will drive end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and payroll coordination for a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with department heads to define staffing needs and build talent pipelines.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle using sourcing strategies and the applicant tracking system.
• Oversee onboarding and induction, ensuring documentation, system access and orientation are completed.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, supporting disciplinary and performance processes.
• Review monthly payroll inputs for accuracy and collaborate with the payroll team.
• Maintain leave, attendance and employee records in the Gantner system, ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist in implementing HR initiatives, compliance checks and reporting aligned with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of HR or human capital experience, preferably within hospitality or a service‑focused industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, HR best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and attendance management tools.
