Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (Group Audit)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will support the Group Audit function in delivering comprehensive operational and financial audits across Al-Futtaim Technologies. Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will help ensure internal controls are effective, policies are adhered to, and assets are protected.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Create and apply audit program templates, defining risks, controls and test procedures.
• Execute operational and financial audits to evaluate internal control systems and performance quality.
• Verify compliance with Group policies, procedures and authority delegations.
• Safeguard group assets during audit fieldwork.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System and prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Communicate preliminary findings to relevant staff and update the Audit Manager on key issues.
• Contribute to executive summaries and presentations for senior management.

Required profile

• At least 36 months (3 years) of experience in operational or financial auditing.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and auditing standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with management.
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
