Assistant Manager - IT Applications

About the role

Join a respected UAE organisation as an Assistant Manager – IT Applications. You will support, maintain and enhance a portfolio of over 30 business applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver system upgrades, enhancements, testing and full application lifecycle activities.
• Participate in application development, coding, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners and service providers.
• Support technology projects, implementations and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, governance controls, audit readiness and compliance standards.
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer and training across all business applications.

Required profile

• UAE National candidates only.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, databases, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with ERP, HRMS or similar enterprise systems.
• Technical certifications such as ITIL, cloud or DevOps are advantageous.
