Assistant Manager – Last Mile

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our last‑mile delivery operations in Dubai, ensuring that orders reach customers on time and meet our service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day last‑mile delivery activities across assigned regions, meeting SLA and TAT targets.
• Coordinate with third‑party logistics (3PL) and delivery partners for order handovers, dispatches and customer deliveries.
• Track and report delivery performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, success rate, RTO, cancellations and escalations.
• Serve as the primary contact for 3PL partners, handling operational issues, follow‑ups and performance improvements.
• Monitor and resolve delivery exceptions, delays, failed deliveries and customer complaints.
• Support route optimisation, timeline reduction and cost‑efficiency initiatives together with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards and quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer experience and planning teams for seamless end‑to‑end fulfillment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports covering delivery performance and partner metrics.
• Identify gaps in the last‑mile process and recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in last‑mile operations, logistics or e‑commerce delivery management.
• Hands‑on experience working with 3PL, courier or delivery partners.
• Strong understanding of last‑mile KPIs, SLAs and escalation handling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with proactive ownership and ability to work under pressure.
