Assistant Manager - Pool & Beach Bar

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Pool & Beach Bar will support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional service at Fairmont Ajman's beachfront venue. This role combines operational oversight, guest engagement, and team leadership to ensure the bar is a top‑destination for guests and a rewarding workplace for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the pool and beach bar, maintaining high service, cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly and create a vibrant atmosphere aligned with the brand.
• Supervise, motivate and schedule the team, conduct briefings and support recruitment and training.
• Support revenue targets through upselling, promotions and effective inventory and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in luxury or upscale Food & Beverage operations, preferably in pool, beach or resort settings.
• Strong knowledge of premium beverage trends and guest engagement practices.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
