Assistant Manager – Public Relations (UAE Government Liaison)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager – Public Relations you will be the primary liaison between the company and UAE government authorities. You will ensure smooth immigration, licensing and compliance processes for employees and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with UAE authorities such as Immigration, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Free Zones, Courts and Customs.
• Process, renew and manage employment visas, residence visas, Emirates IDs, labor cards and work permits.
• Coordinate employee entry procedures including medical tests, biometrics, visa stamping and onboarding.
• Handle employee exit procedures, visa cancellations and labor clearances.
• Maintain compliance with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations and Free Zone requirements.
• Support audits, inspections and government inquiries.
• Manage company trade license issuance, renewals and other statutory registrations.
• Monitor renewal dates for visas, licenses and registrations to avoid penalties.
• Coordinate medical tests, Emirates ID biometrics and visa stamping to ensure timely completion.
• Manage employee and dependent data, track document validity and renewals.
• Handle legal requirements for company‑owned assets and board members.
• Coordinate trademark registration processes for group entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law or related field.
• 2‑5 years experience in PRO / Government Relations within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures and Free Zone regulations.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism.
