AVP, Events & Sponsorship – Al Ain (Emiratized)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Events & Sponsorship will implement and manage a strategic approach to corporate sponsorships and partnerships for First Abu Dhabi Bank. Reporting to the VP, the role supports the identification, development and activation of sponsorship programmes that align with core business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and activate sponsorship, partnership and event programmes, ensuring rights and benefits are fully leveraged.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, procedures and governance frameworks while delivering cost‑effective services.
• Manage associated budgets, business plans and administrative tasks to optimise the events account.
• Coordinate with branding, communications and other departments to ensure timely delivery of media services and brand‑consistent stand designs.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, drive sustainability and support personal development within the marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in events, sponsorship or partnership management.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Solid understanding of project and contract management, planning and budgeting.
• Strategic thinker, accountable and results‑oriented team player.
