Assistant Manager – Sales (Eyewear Distribution)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Sales will support sales and business development activities across the GCC region and Egypt for an eyewear distribution business. You will help manage client relationships, execute sales strategies, and boost brand visibility and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales and business development plans to meet regional targets.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate new retail locations or partners aligned with brand positioning.
• Coordinate with clients and retail partners to ensure optimal product availability and brand representation.
• Track stock levels and assist with replenishment orders across assigned territories.
• Support merchandising and promotional activities to meet brand standards.
• Assist in organizing visual merchandising campaigns and securing in‑store brand visibility.
• Prepare sales reports, performance reviews, and market analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) for smooth execution of sales activities.
• Participate in retail staff training sessions and share product knowledge.
• Travel frequently across GCC and Egypt to visit stores, meet partners, and conduct follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 4–5 years of sales, distribution or business development experience, preferably in eyewear, beauty, pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
• Prior exposure to UAE/GCC markets.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken/written) is preferable.
• Strong communication, coordination and relationship‑building abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking capability.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Willingness to travel frequently across GCC and Egypt.
