Assistant Patient Experience Officer (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Assistant Patient Experience Officer supports the senior officer in delivering on‑spot assistance, information and high‑quality customer service to patients, families and visitors. The role acts as a visible point of contact, ensuring patient concerns are recorded, tracked and resolved while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a culture of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency logistics, liaise with ambulance services, police and medical teams, and ensure timely notification of arrivals.
• Provide doctors with complete patient information, manage conflict during serious incidents, and support end‑of‑life care priorities.
• Handle patient complaints, mediate between patients, families and staff, and prepare reports for management.
• Record and track all patient requests using the department’s database, generate statistical reports and ensure accurate data entry.
• Liaise with nursing staff and physicians to minimise complaints, explain facility policies and encourage feedback through surveys.

Required profile

• High School diploma; a diploma in a relevant field with at least three years of additional experience is preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with Arabic language proficiency.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to accept additional duties and promote a blame‑free, transparent work environment.
