About the role
Abu Dhabi University is seeking a dedicated Assistant Professor of Aviation to join its Department of Aviation on the Abu Dhabi campus. The role combines teaching, research, and service to support the university’s mission of delivering high‑quality aviation education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in aviation subjects and continuously improve curriculum.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Engage with industry partners to create internship opportunities and collaborative projects.
- Participate in departmental committees, student advising, and community outreach.
Required profile
- PhD in Aviation or a closely related discipline (preferred).
- Significant professional experience in the aviation sector.
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using aviation‑specific software.
