About the role
The Department of International Affairs and Social Sciences at Zayed University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank or higher to teach and conduct research in History and related disciplines.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses on world history, 20th‑century history, and UAE/Middle East/Gulf history.
- Engage in scholarly research and publish peer‑reviewed work.
- Integrate web‑based and digital technologies into classroom instruction.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in History or a related discipline, recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Proven record of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Demonstrated research achievements with peer‑reviewed publications.
Required skills
- Proficiency with web‑based teaching platforms.
- Experience using digital classroom technology.
