Assistant Restaurant Manager – Ion Cocktail Bar

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for the Ion Cocktail Bar at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. In this full‑time, onsite position you will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth daily operations in a high‑end, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff to maintain high service standards.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training and performance monitoring.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee inventory control, stock ordering and cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and grooming standards.
• Support the preparation of daily reports and financial summaries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant or bar operations, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS systems and basic inventory management.
