Assistant Security Manager

About the role

The Assistant Security Manager supports the Security Manager in safeguarding all employees, contractors, and guests at Salayel Hospitality’s Abu Dhabi property. The role coordinates third‑party security teams, works closely with department heads, and ensures compliance with local safety legislation and emergency protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the security team’s strategic objectives.
• Direct and coordinate activities of third‑party security personnel.
• Organise regular patrols of boundaries, offices, storage areas, public zones and function rooms.
• Liaise with government agencies and law‑enforcement as required.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure proper follow‑up on allegations.
• Deliver employee awareness training on security procedures.
• Assist in emergency response, including medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire and intrusion alarms.
• Support internal investigations, loss reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date security listings, gate‑pass records and personal identification documentation.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of security operations within a hospitality environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with department heads and external security providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive attitude toward risk identification and mitigation.

Required skills

• Experience with access‑control and security monitoring systems.
