About the role

Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) is looking for an Assistant Specialist to support border‑control activities across Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. The role sits within the Control of Border Ports & Free Zones function of the Import & Export Department, Licensing & Control Sector.

Key responsibilities

Support inspection and control activities for regulated products at border ports and free zones.
Review import and export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and regulatory actions.
Ensure adherence to EDE requirements and applicable regulations.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Supply Chain or a related field.
Experience in import/export operations, regulatory affairs, inspection, border control, customs or government services (preferred).
Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
