Assistant Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for an organized Assistant Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations at Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Dubai. The role ensures accurate inventory control, safe storage, and efficient handling of construction materials.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and store incoming shipments in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems.
• Pick, pack and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Organise the warehouse layout for optimal space utilisation.
• Operate material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfil inventory requests and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage facility.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, damages and discrepancies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in a storekeeper or warehouse role.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
