Assistant Technician

About the role

The Assistant Technician, Weapon Production supports daily weapon assembly and cleaning activities within EDGE's Weapon Production Department, working closely with Technicians and the Production Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, and quality‑driven output.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily weapon assembly and cleaning activities on the production floor.
• Handle, organize, and stage parts, tools, trays, and materials.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor product quality and report defects or non‑conformities.
• Support basic troubleshooting and report equipment or operational issues.
• Assist with inventory checks and ensure required materials and tools are available.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams as required.
• Support continuous improvement and safe working practices.

Required profile

• High School qualification or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, production, or mechanical processes.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a hands‑on production environment and meet operational deadlines.
