Assistant Vice President Finance – Sales (Real Estate)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President Finance – Sales is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the sales and revenue‑generating functions within a real‑estate organization in the UAE. The role ensures accurate accounting, compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and provides financial insight to support growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the financial side of real‑estate sales transactions and related accounting processes.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning and cash‑flow forecasting aligned with sales forecasts and revenue targets.
• Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards and sales performance analytics to senior management.
• Supervise customer invoicing, receipt tracking, bank reconciliations and fund‑flow monitoring.
• Calculate, track and administer sales commissions and broker payments, ensuring transparency and compliance.
• Coordinate annual audits and provide required financial data related to sales.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, AML and other regulatory frameworks, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Oversee escrow account management for RERA‑regulated projects and ensure adherence to Dubai Land Department regulations.
• Establish SOPs for sales finance processes and maintain audit readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting within the real‑estate sales sector.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax, VAT, AML and real‑estate regulatory requirements (RERA, DLD, Oqood/TAS).
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale financial operations, including budgeting, cash‑flow planning and audit coordination.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to produce clear financial reporting for senior management.
