Assistant Welder

About the role

The Assistant Welder supports the welding, grinding and polishing teams by ensuring high‑quality finishes, safety compliance and efficient use of equipment. This onsite position in Dubai requires flexibility to work various shifts and collaborate across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate smoothness and detect defects on ground and polished surfaces after welding.
• Measure productivity and speed of grinding and polishing operations.
• Monitor compliance with safety protocols during welding, grinding and polishing activities.
• Assess material usage efficiency to minimise waste.
• Track upkeep and perform regular maintenance of welding, grinding and polishing equipment.
• Work effectively with the welding and fabrication team.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks to meet project schedules.
• Provide positive feedback on the quality of welded and polished surfaces.

Required profile

• Willingness to work any shift and support other departments when required.
• Ability to work independently without supervisor assistance.
• Strong teamwork orientation with the welding and fabrication crew.
