Associate Director - Procurement

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Associate Director – Procurement to provide senior procurement leadership for its portfolios. The role ensures that requirements are planned, sourced, contracted and delivered in line with policy, budgets and business priorities across Abu Dhabi’s leading educational institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning, framework agreements and standardised specifications for schools and HQ departments.
• Manage supplier performance, data‑led reporting and audit action follow‑up.
• Act as senior escalation point and coach assigned team members.
• Challenge non‑compliant or single‑source approaches and drive value‑focused outcomes.
• Support procurement transformation through continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior procurement leadership experience, preferably within education or large organisations.
• Strong understanding of procurement policy, Delegation of Authority and budget management.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders, manage commercial contracts and ensure compliance.
• Experience coaching teams and handling escalations.
