Associate Director, Project & Sustainable Finance

About the role

The Associate Director, Project & Sustainable Finance will join the Asset & Project Finance (APF) team at First Abu Dhabi Bank, supporting the origination and execution of project and aviation finance transactions for corporate and financial institution clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Originating, structuring and executing APF transactions across CIB and FIG segments to meet revenue targets.
• Developing and implementing aviation industry and project finance business strategies, providing market updates.
• Conducting financial analysis, cash‑flow modelling, sensitivity testing and preparing pitch books, term sheets and information memoranda.
• Collaborating with credit, ESG, and product partners on transaction documentation, green‑light memos and Equator Principle reporting.
• Supporting advisory mandates, researching topics and maintaining pricing details for all APF deals.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project finance and aviation finance.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional aviation markets, syndicated loan and debt capital markets.
• Understanding of project finance structures, participants and assessment tools.
