Associate Electrical Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a motivated Associate Electrical Engineer (UAE National) to join its Dubai team. You will apply basic engineering techniques to support electrical design and analysis for medium‑to‑large infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical calculations, material take‑offs, estimates, surveys, specifications, data sheets and Bill of Quantities.
• Design LV power distribution systems and perform cable sizing using ETAP.
• Create lighting layouts for indoor and outdoor applications with Dialux and AGI32.
• Conduct load‑flow, short‑circuit and earthing studies in ETAP.
• Support telecom and MCC network design, fire‑alarm and life‑safety system design in line with NFPA and local regulations.
• Develop and analyse BIM models using Civil 3D and Navisworks, resolve clashes and guide CAD designers.
• Produce technical reports and client presentations.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Internship or project experience in electrical design of infrastructure projects (fresh graduates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dialux and AGI32.
• Familiarity with protection coordination for LV/MV networks.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
