Associate Engineer, Instrument & Controls

About the role

The Associate Engineer – Instrument & Controls works under direct supervision to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, making minor adaptations as needed. The role also supports investigations and surveys related to instrument and control projects, ensuring compliance with established standards. This position contributes indirectly to cost containment, efficiency, profitability and operational performance while providing opportunities to gain experience within the instrument and controls functional area.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, making minor adaptations as needed.
• Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments within the functional area, following established precedents.
• Support investigations and surveys related to instrument and control projects, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Contribute to cost containment, efficiency and profitability through effective engineering solutions.

Required profile

• Hold an undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Work under direct supervision, demonstrating sound judgment in applying engineering methods.
• Ability to adapt standard procedures to specific project requirements.
