Associate Estimating Engineer – UAE National

About the role

Parsons is seeking a motivated Associate Estimating Engineer who is a UAE national to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will support estimating activities for construction projects, preparing take‑offs, work breakdown structures and cost analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare material take‑offs from AutoCAD and other engineering drawings.
• Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to support cost estimating.
• Gather and document historical cost data, productivity rates and labor, material and equipment rates.
• Produce bases of estimate (BOE) reports, including scope, assumptions, escalation and quality‑control reviews.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers for required items.
• Identify contract risks and assign maximum cost and schedule exposures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• UAE national – fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong understanding of construction contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Contract Manager and DMCS (Document and Materials Control System).
