Associate Landscape Architecture

About the role

The Associate – Landscape Architecture will lead design and delivery of landscape projects for AECOM in Dubai, combining hands‑on project leadership with team management, technical oversight and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple landscape architecture projects, defining roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
• Mentor and manage junior staff, monitor timekeeping, conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Oversee project budgets for specific tasks and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Conduct design and creative review sessions, and present outcomes to clients and internal teams.
• Identify skills gaps, recruit new talent and contribute to business development through market research and thought‑leadership presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior landscape architecture design, preferably within large infrastructure or consultancy firms.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, able to interface directly with clients and senior management.
• Ability to manage budgets, track project progress and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
