Associate Principal Facade Engineer

About the role

The Associate Principal Facade Engineer will lead the delivery of façade engineering consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects in Abu Dhabi and regional offices. You will be responsible for technical excellence, client interaction, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of façade engineering services on single‑discipline and multidisciplinary projects.
• Own project engineering deliverables such as calculations, drawing packages, technical reports, specifications, and design reviews.
• Provide technical guidance on façade systems including structural glass assemblies, curtain wall systems, glazing systems, skylights, windows, and overall building‑envelope solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and progress, reporting risks and performance to senior management.
• Contribute to bid preparation, proposals, and technical submissions.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the façade engineering team, delivering in‑house technical training.

Required profile

• Significant experience in façade engineering, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong project management capabilities with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work across multiple regional offices (Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai).
