Associated Director Market Product Specialist

About the role

The Associated Director Market Product Specialist will join Standard Chartered's Capital Markets Products and Sales (CMPS) team in Dubai. The role focuses on pricing, execution and client advisory across structured products, foreign exchange, fixed income and cash equity, supporting the front office and delivering trade ideas that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Price and execute equity derivatives, structured products, FX, interest‑rate, fixed‑income, mutual‑fund and commodity transactions.
• Quote, book and settle foreign‑exchange deals and structured note transactions.
• Prepare and present weekly trade ideas to the front office and coordinate with external banks on product development.
• Support end‑to‑end documentation, sales processes and risk‑management advice for clients.
• Maintain compliance with internal and regulatory requirements and uphold the bank’s governance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across front, middle and back offices and assist regional partners.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in capital‑markets product sales and execution.
• Proven track record in FX, fixed‑income and structured‑product trading.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to generate trade ideas.
• Understanding of risk‑management practices and regulatory compliance.
