Associate Director – Priority Clients (UAE National)

About the role

The Associate Director will lead strategic client relationship initiatives for priority and high‑net‑worth customers in the UAE. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, onboarding them, and maintaining a high‑quality portfolio through strong communication, negotiation and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to generate revenue and drive digital adoption.
• Acquire new business to meet targets for customer numbers, transaction volumes, product mix and liability goals.
• Onboard all new‑to‑bank customers referred by branches and direct‑sales teams.
• Create and manage sales call plans to attract large prospects through referrals.
• Maintain sales MIS, track calls, prospects, attrition and business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML, anti‑bribery, and financial crime policies, and obtain the SCA licence within six months.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and relationship management across banking and investment products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and networking abilities, with a track record of influencing outcomes.
• Deep understanding of the UAE market and direct contacts within the local HNI community.
• Leadership skills that foster team spirit, collaboration with risk and control partners, and a culture of high customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of capital markets, financial planning and SCA certification (or willingness to obtain it within six months).
