Audit & Assurance Trainee (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Audit & Assurance Trainee to join our Dubai audit team. The role offers hands‑on experience in external audit, financial statement review and UAE regulatory requirements, working closely with senior auditors and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior auditors in audit planning and preparation.
• Obtain, review and analyse client financial records and related information.
• Support understanding of client business operations and accounting processes.
• Prepare audit planning documentation and working papers.
• Check financial statement disclosures against applicable IFRS/IAS standards.
• Identify potential accounting or disclosure issues and discuss them with the Audit Senior.

Required profile

• Partially qualified ACCA candidate who has passed AAA (Advanced Audit & Assurance) and SBR (Strategic Business Reporting).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS and auditing principles.
• Existing audit experience preferred; fresh ACCA candidates with AAA and SBR may be considered.
• UAE audit experience and experience with an audit/accounting firm are advantageous.
