Audit Executive

About the role

As an Audit Executive you will conduct independent audits and assessments of financial and operational processes, evaluate internal controls, identify risks and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, transactions and processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify risk areas and recommend improvements to internal controls and procedures.
• Review and analyse financial reports and statements to spot trends and potential issues.
• Collaborate with department heads and management to understand business processes and deliver constructive feedback.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations and action plans.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal audit plans and strategies.
• Perform ad‑hoc audits and investigations as required by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in the real‑estate sector.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent professional certification is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and internal‑control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing standards and regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with auditing software and tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
