AutoCAD Draftsman – Dubai

About the role

Veraspec Technical Services LLC is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join its Dubai team. You will create accurate 2D technical drawings that support engineering, design, and construction activities for façade and glazing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering specifications, sketches and project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings following engineering changes, comments and mark‑ups.
• Interpret sketches, specifications and technical instructions accurately.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain organized drawing files, records and project documentation.
• Verify that drawings comply with company standards, relevant codes and project requirements.
• Produce drawings for concept, bid, shop and fabrication stages, including glass orders and other materials.
• Develop material order lists from approved drawings.

Required profile

• Diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, engineering, architecture or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsperson or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
