AutoCAD Engineer (2D & 3D)

About the role

DEHN MIDDLE EAST FZE is looking for an AutoCAD Engineer to create detailed 2D and 3D designs for lightning protection, surge protection and earthing projects. The role involves translating project requirements into accurate technical drawings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D AutoCAD designs, schematics and blueprints based on project specifications.
• Coordinate with customers, partners, distributors and consultants to gather design information.
• Review design specifications and ensure feasibility and compliance with standards such as BS 7430, BS EN 505122, IEC 62305 and IEEE 80.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and maintain organized design documentation.
• Participate in project meetings, report progress and manage multiple design tasks to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Engineer with both 2D and 3D design capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
