Automotive Logistics Executive – Vehicle Import/Export

About the role

The Automotive Logistics Executive will oversee end‑to‑end inbound and outbound logistics for vehicle imports and exports in the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective movement of cars while complying with UAE customs, port and free‑zone regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance and vehicle import operations, handling Dubai Trade, CDR, DO collection, COO, HS Codes and related documentation.
• Coordinate with headquarters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers and transporters to track shipments from vessel arrival to yard delivery.
• Control export processes to KSA, Egypt and other markets, preparing invoices, packing lists, COO, BL, MSDS and managing LC documentation.
• Negotiate freight rates, resolve demurrage, detention and other operational issues.
• Maintain accurate import/export records, marine insurance claims and ensure submission to Dubai Customs within required timelines.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, produce shipment status reports and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of automotive logistics experience in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with customs clearance, Dubai Trade, shipping line coordination, DO collection and CDR management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE customs regulations, Jebel Ali Port procedures, free‑zone requirements and HS Codes.
• Proven coordination and negotiation abilities with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Good reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
