AV Technician – Abu Dhabi Yas Island

About the role

The AV Technician will set up and operate audio, video and lighting equipment to deliver exceptional guest experiences at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. You will work closely with the Conference and Banqueting team, ensuring every event runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Set up audio, video and lighting systems according to event specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and exceed guest expectations.
• Collaborate with the Conference and Banqueting team throughout events.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Maintain knowledge of front‑of‑house equipment and property‑management systems.
• Attend required training and ensure brand‑standard compliance.
• Assist other departments as needed and foster good working relationships.
• Promote environmentally‑aware practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar AV role within hotel, leisure or retail environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with video‑conferencing, trussing and rigging is a plus.
