Backend Networking Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Networking Engineer to design, develop and maintain high‑performance networking applications that support our core infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep networking knowledge with backend software development to deliver secure, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications for routing and network management.
• Implement, configure and troubleshoot OSPF and SNMP based solutions.
• Design and enforce Access Control Lists and IPSec security mechanisms.
• Apply symmetric and asymmetric cryptography to protect data in transit.
• Debug complex networking and backend issues in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with network and engineering teams to ensure reliable service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in networking and backend development.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and security protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and start immediately or within 15‑20 days.
