Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team at our Dubai head office. You will work closely with product and engineering colleagues to deliver high‑quality backend services that power our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define optimal solutions.
• Adhere to coding standards, code review processes, and quality guidelines.
• Create automated tests and perform performance tuning.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience or a fresh graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to work onsite at our Dubai office.

Required skills

• Strong fundamentals in object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with professional software engineering practices (source control, CI/CD, testing, operations).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with SQL or No‑SQL databases.
