Bank Teller – Customer Service & Transactions

About the role

The Teller will be the primary point of contact for customers at the branch, handling cash and non‑cash transactions while delivering a high‑quality banking experience. This entry‑level position supports daily financial operations and contributes to the branch’s sales and compliance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash and non‑cash transactions accurately and within service standards.
• Verify customer identity and transaction authenticity in line with AML/KYC regulations.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of each day.
• Detect and report suspicious or fraudulent activity, maintaining zero operational loss.
• Achieve monthly sales and referral targets for retail banking products.
• Participate in branch sales campaigns and community acquisition activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Entry‑level with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Detail‑oriented, ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
