Barista, Server, Cashier & Manager

About the role

Rustic Cafe, a specialty coffee shop in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a friendly and attentive team member to handle barista duties, serve guests, manage cash transactions and support overall café operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, cold beverages and other menu items following café recipes and quality standards.
• Greet customers, explain menu options, take accurate orders and process payments efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and inviting service environment, restock ingredients and supplies, and monitor product freshness.
• Operate and clean espresso machines, grinders, blenders and other café equipment safely.
• Follow food‑safety, hygiene and portion‑control procedures throughout each shift.
• Support preparation and service of light bites while coordinating with the café team.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, brewing methods and beverage presentation.
• Strong customer‑service, communication and active‑listening skills.
• Comfortable operating a point‑of‑sale system and handling cash or card transactions accurately.
• Good understanding of food safety, personal hygiene, workstation sanitation and safe equipment use.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift café supplies.
