Bid Manager AI-Augmented

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead the end‑to‑end bid process for complex ICT and digital transformation opportunities. The role combines deep knowledge of proposal management with AI‑augmented tools to accelerate document analysis, drafting, and compliance tracking while maintaining full human oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full bid lifecycle from qualification, bid/no‑bid analysis, to submission, clarification, negotiation and hand‑over.
• Use AI extraction tools to analyse RFP, RFI and tender documents, then validate and refine requirement breakdowns.
• Develop and maintain bid schedules, compliance matrices, responsibility trackers and submission checklists.
• Collaborate with solution architects, presales engineers and technical SMEs across cloud, cyber, infrastructure and managed services to build cohesive proposals.
• Direct AI‑assisted drafting of technical and commercial sections, ensuring all content is reviewed, rewritten and fact‑checked.
• Consolidate technical, commercial, legal and administrative inputs into a high‑quality proposal package.
• Maintain final accountability for accuracy, enforce data‑handling protocols and manage bid risks, exclusions and contractual dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex ICT bids in the education, research or government sectors.
• Strong understanding of high‑performance computing, advanced networking and cloud/cybersecurity solutions.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines while ensuring technical compliance and commercial competitiveness.
