BIM Coordinator – Busbar Engineering (Engineer I)

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator to join its busbar engineered‑to‑order team. The role focuses on creating accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes in commercial and data‑center projects, reporting to the Design Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3D busbar layout models and 2D shop drawings based on tender specifications and project schedules.
• Conduct review meetings with project team members to verify compliance with customer requirements.
• Track and communicate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) changes to the Design Manager and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate drawing and specification clarifications with the Design Manager to ensure quality deliverables.
• Deliver project designs on or before estimated dates while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure zero‑error design at project close‑out.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a BIM Coordinator, preferably on data‑center or high‑rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single‑line diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Solid BIM workflow knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650.
