BIM/CAD Technician (Infra & Dry Utilities)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician to support infrastructure and dry‑utility projects in Dubai. You will work on medium‑voltage (MV) and low‑voltage (LV) power distribution, lighting, telecom, security networks, pump stations, and bridge/tunnel designs, delivering high‑quality drawings and models.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design and drafting deliverables, including layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details.
• Collaborate with CAD & BIM Managers, Design Leads, and Engineers to ensure compliance with project standards and quality requirements.
• Review drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to QA/QC processes.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families within BIM environments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Support additional project tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience on infrastructure and dry‑utility projects.
• Familiarity with local electricity authority standards (e.g., DEWA, SEWA) is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
